tree house

tree house by marilynn z. nielson, 11×14 oil, SOLD

Sometimes on a winter morning the frost is so heavy on the trees that they appear to be covered with white foliage.  It doesn’t last long as the sun quickly melts it all away and the bare branches appear again.  I still stand in awe every time I see it.  Those who always sleep in late may never see this beauty.  At first glance, one may wonder why it is called Tree House.  Yes, there is another structure in the picture, hiding in the frost – the remains of someone’s tree house. ~ marilynn
