the aspen grove in fall

the aspen grove in fall by janice trane jones, 8 x 10 watercolor

While I was going through my paintings deciding what to post for this month I ran across this small watercolor and decided it was a nice change of pace.  My intent when painting this was to remind us that the colors of fall are so unpredictable and colorful. One day you look up to the mountains and the leaves are yellow and green and two days later they give us a spectacular show of red and orange. The painting sells for $79 unframed. ~ janice

  1. The color is vibrant and the trees almost seem to dance. Lovely!
