tate barn in early spring

tate barn in early spring by marilynn z. nielson, 11×14 oil, $475 framed

Several of us were painting together at the north end of Deer Creek by Soldier Hollow, where we experienced rain, snow, wind and occasionally a patch of sun.  Easels were blowing over and it was cold.  We found occasional refuge under the Heber Creeper Train Canopy.  I attempted two paintings that day but was not satisfied with the other.  This one captured the feeling of that day in a pleasing way. ~ marilynn
