snake creek grill

snake creek grill by katirna madsen berg, 16×20 oil on canvas, $850 framed

There are little crannies of the Heber Valley that speak of it’s past.  Heber City’s Old Town is one of those fun places.  It has been home of antiques, our friends:  Brent’s Golden Koi printmaking studio, Cynthia’s Two Sister’s Art Gallery, and Andy & Mac’s Accents at mcg design.  I have spent many nights enjoying a moment of peace, smelling Andy’s candles, painting, chatting with Cynthia, learning about the toxicity of the artful process with Brent, and eating at Dean’s fabulous Snake Creek Grill.  I’m not sure if it is the old refurbished buildings, or the boardwalk, or the proximity to the original Train Station.  Whatever it is…it is nostalgic and delicious.  Thank you friends for the memories…I hope there will be many more! ~ katrina
